Tasty – enough said
4x200g of cream cheese
400g packet of digestive biscuits
200g Caster sugar
1tsp of vanilla extract
400g of chocolate (half milk and half dark)
100g of melted butter
50ml of double cream
juice and zest of two oranges
Place the biscuits in a food processor and blitz till they become fine crumbs. add half the melted butter and blitz again. It should look the consistency of sand. Place this mix in the bottom of a spring board tin and pat down with the back of a spoon. Pop in the fridge to chill.
In a bowl mix together your cream cheese, sugar, orange juice and vanilla extract. set aside
In a pan break up your chocolate, add the rest of your melted butter and double cream. Mix on a low heat until the chocolate has completed melted.
Pour the melted chocolate into your cream cheese mixture. Stir everything together until everything is incorporated.
Remove your biscuit base from the fridge and pour the chocolate mix on top. Smooth over with a spoon and scatter your orange zest on top.
Allow to chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
